I set up Ip to recieve dynamically and my DNS obtained through ISP, TKIP and AES for security, SSID = BarWRranch, Channel = Default, and its running at 145 Mbps. from my comp to the routers… everything is good on my desktop, i have connectivity. I have Contacted my ISP so they could change the MAC add. All I can find anywhere is a field to change password, nothing about username □ The question I had was whether there is a way to change the logon name from “admin”, instead of just the password. ![]() It can be changed to whatever you want it to be. It will most likely be .x unless you changed it. (This might list more than one network cards information, you’ll have to recognize the name of yours) The number next to “default gateway” is your router address, which you can type into a browser to get to the same page. OR if you want to know the actual IP address instead of just typing in your browser, you can go to start, run, type cmd, enter, then ipconfig and enter. For all in question, it is routerlogin.NET (not com) in your web browser. People on here seem to have a lot of trouble logging into netgear routers though.
